A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from a patterned jasper; providence unknown. The jasper is a one-of-a-kind smaller piece of art with a maroon red center across a yellow mustard moss background.
The stone is cut in a sail with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.
The cabochon is ideal for a small pendant, ring and/or statement piece.
