This material was harvested from an area in close proximity to the Chilito Copper Mine and Velasco Pit Mine, both of which are closed Arizona copper mines with extensive oxidized zones. The stone is comprised of colorful Diorite, Chrysocolla and Azurite. These mines are in close proximity to the town of Hayden, AZ.

Milky Feldspar and Chrysocolla (blue-green) cabochon with Azurite (dark blue) and Iron (Brown). This stone is a one-of-a-kind smaller height piece. The stone is cut in a high dome Oval with both an upper and lower girdle to facilitate setting the stone. The stone measures 1.04 x 0.83 x 0.24 inches. The cabochon is polished to a high glassy luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a small pendant, ring and/or bracelet.
