Ocean Jasper is a trade name for a variety of Rhyolite found along the inter-tidal shores of northeast Madagascar, near the village of Marovato. This hand-cut and polished semi-precious cabochon is made from the prized Rhyolite from Madagascar.

The stone is a one-of-a-kind medium height piece of art that looks like a Van Gogh flower garden with small pink orbicular patterns representing the flowers. The stone is cut in a skewed Navette or Marquise with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

This cabochon is ideal for a pendant, ring, bracelet and/or statement piece setting.
