Ocean Jasper is a trade name for a variety of Rhyolite found along the inter-tidal shores of northeast Madagascar, near the village of Marovato. Ocean Jasper is prized by collectors and enthusiasts alike for its vibrant and colorful orbicular patterns.

This hand-cut and polished semi-precious cabochon is made from Madagascar Ocean Jasper. The stone is a one-of-a-kind medium height covered with light pink circular orbs across a milky white and deep forest green background. The stone is cut in elongated oval with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

This cabochon is ideal for a pendant, bracelet, ring and/or small statement piece setting.
