Due to the vibrant red, orange, yellow, purple and even strikingly white, Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood is often referred to "rainbow wood" or "pet wood".

A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from an Arizona Petrified Wood stone. This particular piece displays red tree rings or red water-lines on a white background as layers across the face of the stone. The stone is cut in an Oval with both an upper and lower girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant or broach.
